Amica is a founding partner of Assemble where her work involves design, research and writing on the social and material processes by which cities are made.  Amica is currently working with Company 3, a ground-breaking youth theatre, and is making a programme for Radio 4 on craft. Amica was a juror for the 2016 Royal Institute of British Architects President’s Medal for Research, has lectured and taught internationally including recent talks at Yale and for E-flux in New York, and has been teaching history and theory at the Bartlett School of Architecture in London since 2014.

Giles is a founding partner of Assemble where his work involves developing strategic design responses to urban issues and building cultural infrastructure. Most recently this has involved working on projects at a range of scales in Venice, Liverpool and London with clients including the University of the Arts London and Goldsmiths. Giles was a juror at the Architectural Association of Ireland awards in 2017, has taught and lectured internationally at venues including recently at the Tate Modern and Harvard University, and has taught design studios at the London School of Architecture and the University of Westminster.
