Arianne fell in love with theatre at a young age, and dreams of being on the stage or a Hollywood star filled her head. Fast-forward 15 years and, with an Honours degree in Theatre Studies from Glasgow University under her belt, Arianne became one of the youngest members of staff at the National Theatre of Scotland. Through her role with NTS, Arianne has worked on projects across several countries, with many world-renowned artists. Soon after graduating, Arianne became a member of the National Youth Arts Advisory Group, and began a process of helping define and enhance the national youth arts strategy. Since joining NYAAG, Arianne has focussed on developing the EICS 2018, and how best to integrate young people into the programme. Arianne also runs her own theatre company, and enjoys working with children and young people whenever possible. Her passion is to empower young people to create and lead their own arts projects, and to increase youth engagement and employment in arts agencies. Arianne looks forward to learning about the youth arts and culture strategies of other countries, and how Scotland compares on the international stage.
