Bea Webster is a Glasgow based actress and theatre maker who graduated from the BA Performance in British Sign Language and English at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS). Bea likes to explore classical and contemporary texts in both English and BSL, scriptwriting for TV and stage, devising, visual theatre, puppetry, signed songs, directing, hosting, and cabaret. Her previous acting work includes Last Woman Left, Scavengers and Antigone (RCS), Love and Information (Solar Bear/RCS), Hell’s Teeth (Playwright Studio). She has written, directed and acted in House of Ladies for On The Verge Festival at Citizens Theatre. Bea has contributed to the BBC Social, has hosted several events, and has published a poem in both BSL and English titled Long Lost Lover, about her birthplace of Thailand. She will be appearing in Red Ladder’s upcoming production of Mother Courage.
