Catherine Cassidy has been Director of Engagement at Scottish Ballet for 8 years, and led on the development of a new dance for health strategy. During her tenure Scottish Ballet has developed a robust and creative access programme pioneering specialist work in the areas of Dance for Parkinson’s, dance for dementia and Multiple Sclerosis. Catherine graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1998 and worked for many years both nationally and internationally as a choreographer, dance artist and producer. Catherine has undertaken the role of Specialist Advisor for the Arts Council of England, Creative Scotland, and Imaginate Children’s Festival.
