David Chipperfield established David Chipperfield Architects in 1985. With offices in London, Berlin, Milan and Shanghai, the practice has developed an international body of work including cultural, residential, commercial, leisure and civic projects. His cultural projects range from private collections such as Museo Jumex in Mexico City to public institutions such as the revitalised Neues Museum in Berlin, Turner Contemporary in Kent and the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Ongoing projects include the James Simon Galerie on Berlin’s Museum Island, Nobel Center in Stockholm and a new music venue in Edinburgh’s New Town.
