Tamara Mazur is Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine. Born in Sokolivka, a village in the Vinnytsia region of Ukraine, she graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev in 2006 with a Master of Laws. From 2004 to 2012 she worked as a lawyer for a private company. She was appointed Candidate of the Legal Sciences in 2009 and has been Associate Professor of the civil and legal disciplines since 2012. She has also been working as a lecturer at the Corporation of Education and Personnel Development (‘KROK’ University). Since September 2006, she has been a lecturer at the College of Finance and Law at Taras Shevchenko and has over 40 scientific publications to her name. Previous government appointments include Assistant-Consultant for the People’s Deputy and Adviser to the Minister of Culture.
