YU Bo is the Branding Director and Media Art Planner at Blackbow, a cross-border innovation team of visual artists, writers, software engineers, mechanical engineers, designers and advertisers. She holds a BA and MA in Digital Art and Communication from the University of China as well as a MA in Directing Digital Film & TV from Bournemouth University in the UK. Her work focuses on New Media Art and Internet Cultural Ecology. Her previous projects include an eight minute show directed by Zhang Yimou for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics Games, the Tencent WE Summit multimedia opening show in 2015 and 2016, and the Terracotta Warriors at Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum Digital Art Museum. She has also produced a documentary film Let’s Evolve, about the Tencent WeChat open platform and Chinese Internet culture.
